Plan Your Visit with Us On A Sunday Morning
Conveniently located just behind the Quick Trip at the corner of Ridgeview and 135th, the Olathe Community Center offers a great space for us to gather on Sundays.
Our hospitality team will be available to answer any questions you may have as you enter the parking lot of the OCC. If you have pre-school age children, we’ll walk you through all the necessary steps to get checked into the nursery which is right across the hall from where the adults gather. We usually gather for about 75 minutes. Normally we invite the elementary age children to head to KidCity about half way through, however during these unprecedented COVID times we’re keeping everyone together for the entire gathering.
The Sunday gatherings are the place to find friends, to be at home, to laugh and to learn about love. Love is that thing asking you to give, serve, hope, forgive and open yourself up to life and God. Love is challenging, which is why so many people comment that our gatherings challenge them spiritually and mentally.

Your child’s experience at Mission is important to you and us! From the moment your family walks into our building, you’ll have help answering questions about safety, about our off duty police officers that help us, or walking through the check-in steps for our nursery and pre-school area.
Elementary ages are invited to hang out with families during the first half of our gathering. We believe children spending time with adults in a worship setting can be significant and impactful; about halfway through the gathering, they will have the opportunity to hang out with kids their age, with a lesson designed especially for them.
We’re honored to partner with you in your child’s spiritual development.
Ultimately, Mission is not trying to get more people in a building on Sunday, rather, we’re trying to get more of us in our neighborhoods and communities. We believe all of us have a role to be the church throughout the week. Church isn’t an event that happens behind four walls on Sunday morning. It’s a movement of people going on 24/7!
