Always Go for Mission!
The message of Jesus reaching beyond Kansas City
Mission is not a place of destination; it’s a place of connection. Our job is to connect with God and connect with people, in particular, people who are marginalized. A theme running throughout the entire Bible is God caring for the marginalized (e.g., poor, hungry, economically oppressed, hurting, those without options, etc…).
We are honored to find ways to connect, to enter into life, and to serve our friends in S/E Haiti.
LQVE is a way to enter into life with the people of southeast Haiti, as well as honoring the hopes of Quincy Foster. Quincy had dreams of being a medical missionary in Haiti, a place she had fallen in love with while in college. Unfortunately, she never realized her dream, for on an icy New Year’s Day, 2015, she lost her life in a car accident. So, we’re going to Haiti for her.
Go to LQVE.org to learn more about the soccer fields being built, the healthcare trips taken, the way we’re supporting local teachers and nurses and, in general, how we are attempting to enter into life with these awesome people. LQVE is not about a project. It’s about people. You should join us giving, serving, going on trips and praying for our friends in Haiti!
